The Council’s draft Annual Plan contains no steps towards introducing a rental Warrant of Fitness. This means renters will be waiting at least another year in cold, damp and unsafe homes before anything even begins to change!
Yet just last year, the majority of our elected Councillors pledged to “take all possible steps” to get Wellington rental properties covered by a compulsory WoF.
